2017 Auction Highlights
Our May auction saw some impressive results. Jewellery highlights included a Fine Victorian diamond riviere, which sold for above estimate at $217,000, and an important Art Deco bracelet, Cartier London, again sold above estimate for $161,200. Signed jewellery by Cartier, Tiffany & Co and Bulgari was ever popular with prices ranging from $1,000 – $15,000. Watch highlights included a gold Rolex President with lapis dial, sold for $27,280, and a vintage Rolex Explorer 1971, sold for $12,400.
Our recent August auction featured the Jannece Tapsall Collection, an eclectic and stylish array of Fine Jewels, Fabulous Furs and Designer costume jewels. With a multi-strand diamond bracelet fetching $37,920 against estimates of $20,000 – 30,000, vintage costume jewellery by Yves Saint Laurent was popular as were simple gold jewellery items by Tiffany & Co. The star lot in the watches was a vintage Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch circa 1970 selling well above it’s estimates of $2,000 – 3,000.

Stern, Chanel, Chopard, Georg Jensen, Trianon, Marco Bicego, and Pandora, with jewels by Australian jewellers Stuart Devlin, Maker’s Mark, Adrian Lewis, Matcham Skipper.
Featuring in the sale is a selection of Luxury Handbags including eight 2017 Chanel Boy Bags together with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Valentino Garavani and Gucci.
Lot 126, our superb cover lot is an impressive 6.49 carat white diamond ring, surrounded by yellow diamonds. The GIA certified stone is estimated at $120,000 – 140,000.
