Peter Rowland, Melbourne’s most iconic and established catering company, has designed a delicious menu specifically for Mossgreen Tearooms. The menu changes seasonally with breakfast and lunch options and in particular pays homage to the art and style of High Tea.

The breakfast menu tempts with offerings such as Highland Porridge, the Hen-House and the new, delicious Mossgreen omelette with spinach, kale and Gruyere cheese served with green tomato chutney.

For lunch, it’s Grand Continental Hotel inspired fare with a contemporary fresh twist including Lady finger sandwiches, the classic Croque Monsieur, and an array of spectacular salads and more substantial mains including pasta of the day and seasonal specials such as the Portsea Classic – beer battered flat head tail served with shoestring fries, tartare sauce and Carolina slaw.

The show-stopping Mossgreen High Tea is a must – served upon a stylish three-tiered silver stand, a selection of delightful sweet and savoury petit-fours and homemade scones with lashings of raspberry jam are showcased by the delightful Butterfly Bloom by Wedgwood fine bone china Teapots, cups and saucers – and is one of the finest High Tea experiences in Melbourne.

Mossgreen Tearooms also serves an extensive selection of teas by artisan tea label T2, coffee by Lavazza and is fully licensed with an impressive and tempting wine and signatures list.
